Research Scientists in Discovery Biology
Desired Qualifications: PhD in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry or related field
Desired Work Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of postdoctoral experience is preferred
Job Description/Responsibilities: Design and validation of standardized protocols for the protein cloning and production. Purify recombinant proteins from E. coli, baculovirus infected insect cells, and other sources. Biophysical characterization of protein-protein and/or protein-ligand interactions using kinetic or equilibrium methods. Closely collaborate with scientists within intra/inter-departments.
- Successful candidates will be proficient in most of the following techniques: molecular biology (as related to cloning, mutagenesis & library construction, western blots, immunoprecipitation, and pull-down assay), protein design, expression and purification, protein library preparation, assay development & methods for characterizing protein stability, and in biophysical methods such as AUC, SPR, ITC or mass spectrometry.
- The role requires a flexible approach to work, excellent communication skills and an ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams.

Research Associates in Discovery Biology
Desired Qualifications: M.S. in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry or related field
Desired Work Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of work experience is preferred

- Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry is required. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of protein expression fundamentals and have significant hands-on experience in cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques including plasmid construction and site directed mutagenesis.
- Experience in biophysical methods such as analytical ultracentrifugation, surface plasmon resonance, microcalorimetry, or light scattering would be an advantage.

Research Associates in Computational Biology
Desired Qualifications: Ph.D. in a relevant subject area (preferably in Molecular Biophysics or computational biochemistry)
Desired Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of post-doctoral experience with structure-based drug design. Should have in-depth knowledge and expertise in structure-based drug design: pharmacophore generation, 2D/3D QSAR, docking and scoring, virtual screening, de novo and ligand design methods, etc.
Job Description/Responsibilities: Experienced computational chemists required for early drug-design technology. The successful candidates will contribute to the molecular modeling strategy for drug design projects from the initial hit findings to lead optimization steps, and will deliver the highest standards of rational drug design for the company. They will collaborate across several groups, such as biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, HTS, pharmacology, etc.
- Experience in using biomolecular packages (like in Biosym, ICM, AutoDock, etc.)
- Proficiency with the Linux operating system
- Experience with perl, awk, shell and/or similar scripting languages
- Experience in working on a clustered computing environment
