R & D Center and Drug Substance Manufacturing
Aptuit Laurus Research & Development center is located on a seven-acre site at ICICI Knowledge Park, Hyderabad, India (www.iciciknowledgepark.com).
A 160,000 sq ft facility with 23 process chemistry labs with an average of five to six fume-hoods in each lab, 17 Analytical Laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment and 10 formulation development laboratories, in addition to a Kilo Lab for the production of clinical trial materials
Dedicated facilities are also available for oncology and other high potent molecules, dosage form development and scale-up operations
Our Kilo Lab facility has a total of 26 reactors with capacity ranging from 50 L to 250 L. This building also has scale-up facilities in which several reactors up to 20 L are available.
The R&D Center houses Regulatory Affairs, IP Management, and Quality Assurance. Reflecting the company's commitment to education, it has six state-of-the-art training labs, two training halls and a library

Bangalore
Our Bangalore site was established as a center of excellence for software design and development along with the 'manufacture' of Clinicopia, the industry leading clinical packaging and supply management product suite in use at 8 major pharmaceutical companies.
In addition to providing ongoing maintenance and support for current users, Bangalore will provide the critical development support needed for the next generation of Clinicopia, currently expected out next year, as well as other informatics solutions which will enable all Aptuit and Aptuit Laurus customers to share project-based information in a secure, real-time web based environment.
Drug Substance (API) Manufacturing
Aptuit Laurus is investing in an API manufacturing facility at Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City, Visakhapatnam
Spanning over 2,100 acres, the Pharma City site will provide an efficient environment for pharmaceutical manufacturing with facilities including a common effluent treatment plant, common hazardous waste management, marine outfall for discharge of treated effluents, logistics hub and chemical feedstock. Pharma City is strategically located for airports and seaport, and just 600 km east of Hyderabad
The company has also acquired 34 acres of land in Pharma City for the creation of a Drug Substance manufacturing facility
The facility will have three general chemistry blocks and a containment facility for oncology products
The facility coming up in compliance with US FDA standards, will be operational by the end of 2007.
